Its Always Tea Time!

This month its Alice's Anniversary and what better way to celebrate than with a tea party! The ornamental version of Simba is now available to download below! I did originally pattern the whole back half of his leaves but they ended up looking too cluttered so I decided to keep them blank instead.

I printed him at 15cm tall at the tip of his leaves which makes him a little taller than mickey, this should leave him a nice size for when I make the larger lion's for the collection.

A character that needs no introduction, Simba is the main character of The Lion King who is destined to rule over the Pride Lands as King.

Mickey Pride Frame

A little bit of a change to our planned schedule, I haven't been able to make the advanced model I had planned this month, so since it's Pride month, who better than Simba as our next character model instead! I'll also have a couple of little extras to go alongside him, starting with this lovely mickey hands frame! It's freestanding and has a removable back to keep your photos in place.

Little Mermaid Month

This month with the release of the live action I had lots of goodies out on the page for fans of the little mermaid. We started the month by adding the adorable Flounder to the collection, alongside Ariels Dinglehopper, Snarfblat and Thingamabob. We then added the next Magical Item to the page with King Tritons Trident.

Poor Unfortunate Souls

Ursula's soul garden is now available to download below! 

The base and souls are all printable separately and can be printed in either resin or FDM, I printed the base in white PLA and the souls in resin. To make the coloured sand for the garden just mix together some food colouring in a sandwich bag with some regular sand and then leave it to dry, you're then free to add foliage or stones and start decorating however you like!

Ursula's necklace and Earring set is now available to download below!

Our next character model out this month was of Ursula's sinister spies, Flotsam and Jetsam. As Disney Henchmen go I really love these two, they're dark and mysterious and add a really eerie tone to the film, they're also competent minions which makes a nice change and I LOVE the creepy way they talk. One successful test print later Flotsam & Jetsam are now available to download below! its quite a big model so I've sized it at 12 cm which makes it a little shorter than our Mickey figure. I'm really impressed with the print and I think this might be one of my new favourites!

Flotsam & Jetsam WIP

Just a quick photo update of the finished ornamental model. I went with sharper patterns this time around to fit with their villainish appearance and left their fins blank to create a border running through the model, which separates the patterns really nicely. 019. Flotsam & Jetsam

Flotsam and Jetsam are a pair of sinister, green moray eels who serve as loyal minions to the Sea Witch Ursula. Despite her amorality, the eels are deeply loved by Ursula, who refers to them as her "babies" or "poopsies". They are dark, mysterious and extremely competent henchmen who never fail to get the job done. When their white eyes combine, it forms a single crystal ball, a portal through which Ursula can spy on the outside world from her lair.

The fishbone pen prints and fits together in 2 parts and when assembled measures roughly 32cm long. Ursula Ring Holder with Flotsam & Jetsam Rings

Now complete with Flotsam & Jetsam Rings, the Ursula ring holder is available to download below! I printed the tentacle at 10cm tall in black filament using my standard settings, which I then painted with Arteza royal purple and lilac. It fits about 5 small rings comfortably or more if you have bigger sized rings.

Ariel's Treasure

All of Ariel's underwater treasures are now available to download below! I printed them in red PLA using organic supports on Prusa Slicer except for the thingamabob which was printed using my standard settings on Cura. I painted them using a base coat of Valejo game colours with a top coat of Arteza metallics to give them a nice underwater shine.

Flounder (Ornamental Variant)

Decorated flounder is now ready to download below! this time I printed him at 6cm tall on FDM and the test print ran great. I've had an awesome idea for a little home for him to live in and I needed a smaller version of him to work with that, but the attached stl is still 8cm tall like the original clean version. I'll be making Flounder's home in a few weeks on the page so stay tuned for that and I'll release some more info nearer the time.

The first version of flounder is now all ready to download below! The test print ran smoothly and I'm happy to report he balances fine on his fins. I printed him at 8cm tall and he's a little face heavy due to the shape of the model so if he ends up a bit like a weeble wobble, some light sanding to the underside corner of his tail should fix the issue. He also has no small or fine areas other than the finer spikes on his hair so he should print fine on both resin and FDM.<...
