New video this weekend 🙂

I'll have a new video out this weekend. I'm hoping to have it uploaded Saturday afternoon. I also have 3 other videos currently in various states of completeness that I'll be finishing up soon.

While I have your eyeballs for a minute I wanted to show you all this awesome picture I found at Goodwill. This is an old picture of Superstition Springs Center during it's construction. I have no idea where it came from or how it ended up in a thrift store but it's mine now....

Spooky Archaeology: Spirit Halloween 2022

Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology. Mark and I went and poked around a Spirit Halloween store because they're open already and they're always fun. This one is a more fun/lighter video and I had a lot of fun making it. Thank you all for your support!

Bed Bath & Beyond Is A Failure!

Here's my latest video. I don't think Bed Bath & Beyond is going to make it based on the current news and what I saw their recently. You also get to see a little bit of my new place in this video 🙂 Thanks for your patience everyone!

Where's the video?

I just finished working on it. It's exporting now. I needed to go get some additional footage yesterday. Editing and voiceover also took a little long than expected. It's exporting now then I just need check it for errors. I'm hoping to have the upload started before I hit the hay tonight. I also need to figure out a catchy title lol. I don't want to spoil too much but it covers a national retailer who seems to be in a downward spiral. I cover the latest news on them and I...

New videos soon 🙂

I'll have a new video out Monday. We're back to looking at a struggling national retailer. This episode will have a bit of a twist though. I think it will make for a fun video. I should have a Patreon exclusive video out very soon too. I'll show you what I've been working on at my new place. I have a large loft area that I've turned into what I call the Retro Loft™️. I'll do a full collection tour and stuff at some point when the loft is done. I want to give you all a ...

My Trip to the 2022 SoCal Retro Gaming Expo

Here's my latest video. It goes live to the general public tomorrow afternoon.

Mark and I got some really great footage on Sunday. That video should be out in about a week. Now that I've gotten mostly settled in my new place I'm starting to plan some travel again. I'm hoping to get out of Phoenix mid August. I've got some fun videos that should be done before then though. Speaking of August, I will be at the Game On Expo in Phoenix August 5th-7th. I'll be hanging out...

New video and life stuff update

Hey everyone, here's my latest video. Thank you all so much for your patience. I'm in the process of unpacking at my new place now. I always forget how much crap I have until I have to pack and then unpack it lol. I have several fun videos planned for the near future and thankfully I'm getting to a place where I'll have more time to work on them. Also, Bean (my dog) is doing much better now. It was a scary couple of weeks with him but he seems to be on the mend now. Hopefu...

Quick update

I was planning to have a new video out this weekend but It mostly won't be out until Monday or Tuesday. Mr. Bean (my dog) has been having health problems. Something is very wrong with his back causing him a lot of pain. I was up with him all night last night and I just got back from the animal hospital a few hours ago. He's on pain medication, a muscle relaxer, and steroids now. He seems to be happier and more comfortable now that he's doped up. After the round of steroids...

Kohl's: Who Would Want To Buy This?

Here's my latest video. It's been several years since I've been in a Kohl's. They are currently taking bids to buy them. I'm not sure why anyone would want to buy Kohl's.

Thank you all for your patience. I haven't been able to produce videos as quickly as I'd like. I have a lot of stuff going on with work and personal life stuff. I'm currently in the process of packing to move. I recently purchased a new place and will be moving in mid-July. Once I'm moved and settle...

Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology! Thank you all for your patience, I know it's been a while between videos.

Sears & Kmart In 2022

Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology. I was recently able to film one of the last Sears stores in the United States. This episode takes a look at how Sears and Kmart are doing in 2022.

In personal news I've recently started house shopping which has been stressful and time consuming. Once I get settled into my new place uploads will become more regular again. I also plan to expand the 2nd channel and also start streaming some old video games again. I haven...

Thrifting Time! Ep. 17: PC Games & Farting Monkeys

Here's the latest episode of Thrifting Time. I had a lot of fun making this one. The first store is near a retirement community, we found lots of weird stuff at that one. The second store was featured 4 or 5 years ago in one of my first Thrifting Time! episodes. Happy Saturday everyone!

Desert Sky Mall: Is It A Dead Mall

Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology. In this episode we visit a Mall that I haven't been to in over 4 years. A lot of people have said this place is dead. I'm no so sure of that.

New video soon and a quick update

After what seems like ages my voice is finally back to normal. It doesn't sound miserable anymore 🙂 I'll have a new mall video out this week. It's a mall many people have requested that I do an update on. I think my last video on it was over 4 years ago. Many people over the last few years have even told me it's a "dead mall" now. That's not what I found on my recent visit. It's a very interesting mall with a very interesting story.

Also, I actually have some tra...

Mall Plant Update

It's doing really great 😀 I moved it to a smaller pot. I got a few comments on the video explaining why I should do that.

Also, I still have the other 2 clippings that I didn't think would root. One of them finally did. I'm hopping the other one will too 😁

Dead Mall Plants & Floppy Disk Photography

Here's my latest video. I've been wanting to try growing my own mall plant from a dead mall for a while and finally had a good opportunity to try it. I made a visit to Power Square Mall a day or 2 (I can't remember exactly) before it closed permanently. I was able to grab some clippings from one of the plants there. I've always loved the plants at Power Square Mall. While I was there I also took a lot of pictures including several with my floppy disk camera. I think the pi...

New video on the RA2 channel

I'm still working on the next couple of episode of Retail Archaeology. A new episode should be out at the beginning of next week. In the meantime here's a video I did on the RA2 channel. If you like old computer games I think you'll enjoy it 😁

Chuck E. Cheese Pizza At Home

Here's this week's episode. It goes public tomorrow morning. This one's a little lighter in tone and a little different. When I saw Chuck E. Cheese was selling frozen pizzas at the grocery store I was very intrigued. Then I had the idea to compare it to a pizza from an actual Chuck E. Cheese location. Mark and I's expectations were low, but holy shit.

Power Square Mall: Recycling A Dead Mall

Hey everyone, I thought I posted this here but I did it through the app and apparently it didn't actually post. Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology 😁

Power Square Mall Update

I had one of the best times I've ever had filming a dead mall today. The new owners of Power Square Mall reached out to me and asked me to come and film it. Something like this very rarely happens. The new owners are going to be converting it into a art school. They've already started by converting the mall's old VF Factory outlet anchor into temporary classrooms. I'm very thankful that the new owners recognize how important it is to document places like this. On the rare ...

Auntie Anne's Vs Wetzel's: Ultimate Mall Pretzel Showdown

Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology. This one is a little different so let me know what you think. Thanks everyone!

Spooky Archaeology: Spirit Halloween

It's officially the spookiest time of the year. Here's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology. I would have had this video done sooner however the store was blaring top 40 pop music which made it difficult to try and include the sounds from the animatronics. Unfortunately I had to cut out the background sound completely. I still think it's a fun video though and does a good job of representing a typical Spirit Halloween experience.
