You return to the village to find it a complete warzone, doors have been hacked down and roofs have been set ablaze. Bloody patches and drag marks line the ground but, no bodies are to be found. Leading away from the village, you notice several footprints that appear to be human lead by other hooved marks.
If you search the village you may find two living children, a young girl and a teenage boy hiding in a secret crawl space under the floorboards of one of the house...

While all the real wizards—er, myself excluded, someone had to watch the acolytes—were away at a conference, one of our students forgot to close the seaside portal before the annual migration. Now our hallways are positively swarming with giant crabs! And, to make matters worse, they seem to have—rather unfortunately—figured out how to use the other portals!
Those damn crabs are causing quite a bit of havoc to the connected towns, if I might say so! Oh, no do...

One day a year the ancient manor of the vault appears. It sits above the meandering creek that passes by the village, on a lightly forested hill, its battered form a silhouette on the horizon.
The vault is said to hold treasures and artifacts beyond your wildest dreams, but local folk don’t go near the area anymore for it is said that shadowy figures haunt the hillside ruins, and should you spend to much time close to the ruins you too will become one of them...
