July Vote: Magic Edition

For this month's vote, I thought it would be fun to do a pinup version of a Planeswalker from Magic: The Gathering. It's a card game I enjoy, and there are so many awesome looking characters to choose from. I've listed the options below, so go vote!

Here's Playmaker's drawing for June! I'm actually really happy with how the water turned out. I'm terrible with rendering water, and I think I pulled it off fairly well here.

I decided to try out something different with Fury and use thin lines for the inking. I typically use a thicker brush for more interesting line weight, but it often obscures the colors. So I'm giving this a shot.

First Goal Reached!

After almost 2 years, I have reached my first earnings goal! 

So what does this mean? 

My original plan for when I reached my $50 goal was to create a full piece each week of the month, which would come out to 4 pieces a month. 

I fully intend to meet that output of content, with one minor tweak, if it's acceptable to you all: instead of completing one piece a week, I will complete four pieces a month. It comes out to the same amount of con...

Just a Heads Up

I just wanted to let you all know that, once again, I have found myself behind schedule. I got caught up drawing mermaids and working on commission pieces. I am still absolutely going to draw Fury for May's vote, but it's gonna roll over into June.
