Recently I reached 20k on Instagram which is a milestone I’ve been so excited for! I normally keep the raffle commissions fairly simple but I really like this one so I may want to add a lot more color & detail just for fun! 😅

Base Colors & Feature Friday!

Hey everyone! Here is the sketch you saw yesterday with all my base shades and shadows, right before I’m about to start adding highlights and more colors.

Tip: When I am trying to make a drawing that radiates warmth, I avoid using black, gray, or any cool color for my sketch layer. Instead, I use a mix of brown, red, and orange. When it comes to shading colors and tones on top, I only use my most saturated colors (like red) on a couple choice areas...
