about Patreon's recent payment issues

hi! at the beggining of August, it seems like many cards were denied for patrons of many creators, causing subscriptions to be cancelled against supporter's wishes. Luckily, i seem to have not been affected as far as i can tell, but heard that a lot of creators noticed a drastic loss on patrons after the issue, and i have also received an official email contact from Patreon apologizing for the instability.
