Ah, ok, I see. I completely respect your decision and I might know how to improve it: Increase the immersion by adding more sound effects of the surroundings. On humble bundle, there are occasionally sfx packs on sale with dozens of gigabyte of high quality SFX. Also, turn down the music a bit, because the main focus is still your voice and if the music is too loud, it drowns out your voice, breaking the immersion. And lastly, don't use more than one or two songs. With this ASMR, it felt like you were just playing a playlist of vaguely fitting music. Don't worry, good sound design comes with experience and experimenting around, but I'm sure you'll mange to balance out everything to make the best of both worlds ๐

I completely get where youโre coming from, I was trying a new style of ASMR roleplay where itโs like youโre inside an anime and you hear the swell in the music when youโre being confessed to. Itโs less about falling asleep and more about feeling the fuzzies with this audio ๐ฅฐ

It drowns out your voice, it can be too distracting if it doesn't fit and the listener can't fully focus on this imaginary roleplay or it prevents them from falling asleep. Except, of course, there is some sick street performer doing all of those sick tunes in the background. Then it's ok.
