Added 2025-02-13 20:09:08 +0000 UTCthe morning light slips through the curtains, warm against tangled sheets and bare skin. everything from last night is still there, the way i held you, the way i reminded you just how much i missed you. but even now, with you curled against me, my arm draped over your waist, it is still not enough. we try to behave. i need to ask you something first, something i have been holding onto since before i left. my fingers trace lazy patterns against your skin as i finally say it, but the second the words leave my mouth, everything shifts. you look at me, and suddenly nothing else matters. the space between us disappears, slow at first, then all at once, like neither of us have the will to stop it. my hands are already on you, yours already pulling me in, and whatever patience we had is gone. last night should have been enough, but it never is. i have missed you too much, needed you too much, and right now, i am making up for every second we spent apart.
