I just can't keep still š
Time and time again, I notice that I need energy during shoots. Donāt get me wrongāI also really enjoy calmer sessions. But if theyāre calm, there has to be a reason behind it. Maybe the mood is meant to be more emotional, romantic, or sensitive. Ideally, a shoot should just be a good mix of everything.
When Iām supposed to pose more quietly because the photographer is shooting at a slower pace, I often feel stuckālike Iām not allowed to switch between dynamic and calm. With paid shoots, I can usually handle that a lot better than with TFP sessions.
You can see it quite well in this series: we started off in a more quiet mood (mainly because the table prop kind of set that tone), and then we moved into more dynamic shots.
And that kind of combination? Thatās just pure fun!

Ich merke immer und immer wieder, dass ich wƤhrend Shootings Power brauche. Versteht mich nicht falsch ā ich mag auch total ruhigere Shootings. Aber wenn, dann mĆ¼ssen sie aus einer Intention heraus ruhig sein. Weil es vielleicht emotionaler, romantischer oder feinfĆ¼hliger wirken soll. Am liebsten sollte ein Shooting einfach eine gute Mischung aus allem haben.
Bei Shootings, bei denen ich ruhiger posen soll, weil der Fotograf oder die Fotografin einfach langsamer arbeitet, fĆ¼hle ich mich oft wie gefangen ā weil ich nicht zwischen dynamisch und ruhig wechseln darf.
Bei Payshootings kann ich mich damit deutlich besser arrangieren als bei freien Shootings.
Bei dieser Strecke sieht man es ganz gut: Wir haben ruhiger gestartet (einfach, weil das Requisit Tisch das auch ein StĆ¼ck weit vorgegeben hat) und sind dann Ć¼bergegangen in bewegtere Bilder.
Und genau diese Kombi macht einfach SpaĆ!
