Spoiler Free: This episode was fantastic they went super heavy with their slapstick-fueled Shenanigans. I really enjoyed this a lot, it has the same chaotic energy as episodes like Gas and The accident.
Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!
The Rube Goldberg machine was what I was trying to think of at the end of my reaction lol. This episode has such a strong start with the Rube Goldberg machine jacking up Richie. There's no need to list all of my favorite moments because I loved this entire episode.
What I will do is ask a question. The joke have you got the crackers? Nope, it's just the way my trousers hang. I thought he meant his junk until he made what was a clear penis joke and I thought wait they wouldn't make the same joke twice would they ?? So I looked cracker under UK slang and only I found two meanings for a cracker that don't match the joke. Can anyone explain the joke?
1)shes a cracker
2)this new coaster is a cracker
1)shes a good looking woman
2)this new ride is brilliant
Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!
As always I would love to read your comments below
"Have you got the crackers?" Doesn't mean anything at all. It just sounds kind of like an STD or something. "Jacobs" is cockney rhyming slang for testicles. Jacob's Cream Crackers = knackers (another word for testicles), but that joke didn't seem to have anything to do with that. It doesn't seem to refer to any actual specific slang. I've never heard of having the crackers, meaning anything specific. But it sure sounds like it does, so I guess that's all there was to that joke

I don't think they made it to the US, he's the third American reactor I've seen who didn't know what they are.

Next episode is my favourite episode. And before watching it look up a picture of a Womble. They are from a very popular series of British children's books, their thing is they wander (or womble as its referred to) around fields n parks collecting rubbish to recycle. Some of the characters include Great Uncle Bulgaria and Orinoco

Dont know if you'll get the chance but after competing the series you should check out Bottom Fluff, as far as I know it was only VHS exclusive but hopefully its available online too. Basically its a compilation of bloopers/outtakes from the series where Rik & Ade break character constantly- really funny stuff. Also for the record the best of the live shows are the third one & the second one.

This is an awesome episode. The thing with Bottom, is that you get the odd episode that doesn't quite work or becomes repetitive but episodes like this, more than make up for those and make the seasons worth watching.

Great episode and reaction :) you're right, it was a penis joke. When Richie said have you got the crackers he meant 'Christmas crackers', they're a colourful or glittery paper tube which two people pull at either end and pull it apart, the winner gets a rubbish joke to read out, a little gift and a paper crown style hat lke the ones they were wearing. And Eddie made it into a double entendre penis joke :) cracker can also mean an attractive person or something great. π

This is great! I'd never realised how much had been cut for the TV. The version I grew up with was a VHS taping off BBC, so it's like watching an episode I've never seen before! Flows much better.

The paper hats from the crackers are the crowns Eddie, Spudgun and Dave Hedgehog were wearing.
