Change is in the air on Patreon 📣 IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ 🙏🏽

Hiya nudies and happy Saturday!

This is a slightly lengthy read, but please bare with me (as in, yes, feel free to get naked to read this 🙊 and please give me a few minutes of your time too 😉) 🙏🏽

So, some of you will remember that, last year, I shared that Patreon announced that ALL creators on Patreon would be required to switch to a ’subscription billing’ model by 4 November 2025…

Since launching my Patreon in January 2020, I have built my Patreon around a ‘1st of the month’ billing model, and with Patreon’s requirements for a mandatory adoption of its ‘subscription billing’ model, there are aspects of my Patreon that will no longer be feasible on the platform due to logistical challenges that this change presents.

And whilst I had hoped that Patreon would introduce tools that might make it possible for me to feasibly switch over in the meantime, unfortunately that hasn’t happened. So whilst I have wracked my brain over how I could make this work, and whilst it would be a whole lot easier to be able to remain on the platform in the capacity that I currently am, some aspects of my Patreon will no longer function feasibly under the ‘subscription billing’ model that I will be required to adopt after 4 November 2025.

*and whilst current Patrons are able to remain on their 1st of the month billing date after 4 November should they prefer, this doesn't really change anything for me as a creator who is grappling with the logistical nightmare that this change presents.

So, with that change coming into affect in just a couple of months, I’m really having to put my head down to launch a NEW subscription platform/s that I will slowly migrate onto over the next few months (don’t fret, my Patreon will still be around for some time as I make the transition…so don’t freak out anyone!).

By reminding you of this, I am merely bringing you into the transition process as I aim to pivot based on my community’s needs and feedback.

SO, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OLD ‘1ST OF THE MONTH’ BILLING MODEL VS THE NEW ‘SUBSCRIPTION BILLING’ MODEL?

Patreon’s original ‘1st-of-the-month’ billing model has meant that people pay upfront and then their subscription renews on the 1st of each month thereafter, regardless of when they signed up. So, previously, if someone decided to join my Patreon on the 15th of the month, they would be charged upfront and then their subscription would renew on the 1st of the next month and then the 1st of each month thereafter.

‘Subscription billing’ is a model whereby someone who signs up on the 6th of a month will be charged upfront on that date and will next be charged on the 6th of the next month and the 6th of each month thereafter.

Subscription billing is one of the more common subscriptions models out there (think Netflix, Spotify, etc).

But, when I started out on Patreon back in 2020, they only offered this ‘1st-of-the-month’ billing model and ‘per creation’ billing.

So, over the past 5 years, I have adhered to and built my entire Patreon business around its original ‘1st-of-the-month’ billing model.

And whilst Patreon introduced ‘subscription billing’ as an option for creators to adopt back in 2022, I chose not to adopt it for the same and very logistically-challenging reasons that I am coming up against 3 years later.

WHAT WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON THE SUBSCRIPTION BILLING MODEL?

• Naturist Vlogs

• Slow Nude TV Channel

• Livestream Replays Library

• Online Naked Yoga Library

• Basically anything Vimeo-related

WHAT WILL NO LONGER WORK ON THE SUBSCRIPTION BILLING MODEL?

• Private Snapchat

• The Nude Archives (2025 snapchat archives)

• The Nude Package (photoset library and the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 + 2024 snapchat archives)

• Basically anything dropbox-related

On top of the already-mammoth logistical feat of migrating almost 5 years worth of content onto another platform, this also feels unsettling as Patreon is basically my entire livelihood. So, if I am being completely honest with all of you, this is a little scary for me 🥺

But, as with all challenges The Nude Blogger (TNB) has faced over the years (because I have faced my fair share!), I trust that this is a re-direction for the betterment of TNB.

I trust that my community will support me no matter where I go, because I have built this with all of you and continue to do so.

Whilst the migration will be a slow and steady one, I will continue to ensure that my subscribers are brought in on the gradual migratory process.
