After years of hearing about Spartacus, we finally stripped down and stepped inside Puerto Vallarta’s most infamous gay men’s sauna—and let’s just say, it absolutely lives up to its reputation.

Located right in the heart of the Romantic Zone, just steps from all the bars and clubs on Lázaro Cárdenas, Spartacus gets extra steamy as the night goes on—especially during Pride, when the crowd turns up and the towels come off.

We visited on a Tuesday night (pro tip: it’s only 200 pesos, or about $10 USD, compared to 500 on weekends), and wow. Let’s just say there was something—and someone—for everyone. Locals, tourists, bears, twinks, silver daddies… the energy was as diverse as it was delicious.

We loved how easy it was to meet people—especially at the rooftop bar by the pool. But to be honest, everywhere at Spartacus is a good place to strike up a conversation… or something else. 😈
