As much as I love the summer, my body is yearning for the soft embrace of Autumn!

My skin calls for the friendlier temperatures, my bones ache for the rustling of leaves beneath my feet and my soul salivates for the calmer atmosphere ~ less frantic fomo and saturated schedules, more steady breath and gentle balance.

I've been absolutely revelling in being home alone and how the peaceful solitude has been so nourishing for me since I landed back from Glastonbury. I really needed this little window to myself, grounded in my own space before I'm on the move again!

From crafting in the afternoon, to 3am in the garden hanging up laundry with the moonlight on my tits, to drunk cooking listening to bluesy country music on mega loud. It has been a VIBE.

Another trip around the sun 🌞

It's my birthday!

It's all been so much recently so I'm taking myself away for a couple of days with my partner in attemptedly the most affordable way possible ~ a couple of nights in a lovely place up north to just rest and decompress and reconnect. A much needed mental health break after the last six weeks turmoil!

I'd much rather have spent spring frolicking around the forests than living out of bags on the move whilst living through such an intense rebirt...

Fur of the fox

So this was a massive rush job last summer when we tackled the freezer and had a looooad of little critters to process in practically one afternoon!

The fox was one I was desperate to get the hide from though, but after being in the freezer for over a year, being a poor little victim of the road and also us being in a rush, she sadly wasn't in the best condition.

March was hard.

January really is the Monday of the year!

It can be all too easy to be swallowed whole by harsh winter winds and bitterly cold brain demons. Spending this January holing up at home, resting and recuperating was the best choice I've made in a while!

Of course it's extremely difficult now finances are suuuuuper thin (...-ner than usual 😅), but taking some time off to properly and intentionally climb back on top on things has done my mind an immeasurable moun...

Vintage vehemence

First post featuring some images from one of my London shoots back in December! This was my first time working with Pete and it was AMAZING. Such an all round good egg and the day was just filled to the brim with laughs, good chat and heaps of kindred-spirit fuelled creativity!
