Im back!

Things have been crazy 😅

Sorry for being absent all year, I’ve of been trapped in a cycle of being angry and depressed at all the stuff going on in the world, followed by a feeling of “ there’s nothing i can do but draw so i should draw as much as i can.” It’s led to an unpredictable drawing schedule, and doesn’t inspire horny thoughts 😖

I think at this point, i’ll be revamping this patreon to become more “behind the scenes” and then have occasional nsfw patreon...

decapitation timeline again! im thinking that Blink keeps him crammed in their room since Apoc’s room is locked and he lost the keys in the events of getting his head cut off and transforming into a monster. He’s still conscious but the demon body has a mind of it own 🫣

Ok not really, but Assassin definitely chose to have a ring enchanted on purpose haha. Normally, Aaron transforms to demon form when he gets too excited, but the change pushes out his consciousness (like traditional werewolf rules). So in the same way that Assassin’s choker keeps him in human form, Aaron’s ring now does the same thing, so he can choose if and when he wants to switch.

Figure drawing jan + feb

Figure drawing practice! All of these are referenced from either quickposes, line of action, or posemaniacs. i usually try to do 10-20 mins of figure drawing as a warm up, ideally everyday but that doesn’t always happen haha.

i’m hoping that it will help me to draw better poses faster, but sometimes it feels like my brain stores studies and original draws in separate places 🤔

Studies!

Special focus on arms this time! Also, 30-90 second figure drawing using the websites  quickposes and line of action. They have more variety in body types, but all the photos are random, so there’s no way to study a particular pose or body type if you’re looking for something in particular. I’ve noticed that sometimes the poses or models are a bit too repetitive if you use the same website for two long, so I try to rotate through them!

A friend of mine recommended Serial Monster kr. as drawing reference and I‘ve been using it to study since! It’s pretty much all buff korean male models, so there isn’t much in terms of diversity, but it’s great for studying muscles haha.
