A back of the camera shot from my shoot with Toby Lewis yesterday! I'm absolutely encapsulated with excitement to see these photos in all their finalised glory soon. We had such a productive afternoon in the woods and MAN was it good to frolic around the trees once more. I always feel more at home with moss beneath my feet and twigs tangled in my hair ๐ฟ photos coming soon!

I have the intense task ahead of me of tackling this freezer full of specimens over the next few weeks!
Mostly roadkill and forest finds (some gifted to me by other woodland scavengers) and it's pretty much full now! ~ With a couple of rabbits, a few squirrels, a jackdaw, some pheasants, two partridges, some badger paws, a sparrow, some bird of prey (not sure which yet, need to have a proper look at it!), a few mice, a shrew, half an owl.....
I think I'm slowly getting the hang of this muse thing?! Which is exciting! It feels really great to be able to see actual progression with my work and my capabilities within it. Working with the lovely Bob on this shoot was genuinely such a dream too, hugely excited for the next one. I'd love to hear if you guys have any favourites from this set! ๐ค

What a wonderful day! It felt refreshing to ignite curiosity again and branch out from the almost purely nature-embracing theme of my current body of work ~ to adventure down different paths of creativity. Our whole day was spent crafting boudoir images by my French windows and I feel so freakin happy with the results! Here's a first little one for you to show you what's to come ~ ๐ค
I can't wait to sink my bare feet into the earth and drape myself over mossy carpets once more ๐ฟ I feel honoured to have such a gorgeously energized April ahead of me, filled with offers to work with seriously talented fellow creatives! A serious one and a smiley one! From a shoot last year with my bestie, the always wonderful and talented Bryony. Shot just before I jumped straight into a puddle of mud to roll around for the next half of our shoot! (Those photos still to come haha.) Oh ma gaaaad, it took me SO long to dry out the hide on this final step!
So. Lessons learnt ~
Just a wee clip of me on the near-final stage of preserving the deer hide back in January!
Quality is such balls but this was just a little first attempt, fairly late at night and with nowhere good to prop my phone in the shed/no decent lighting.... next time will definitely be better! (I'm also new to this whole YouTube malarkey! Since Patreon doesn't host video content I've had to make one because I plan on documenting all sorts for you guys! Any tips on work...
I love the juxtaposition of these! It just goes to show that with skilled photography how one setting can invoke two completely different moods. Bryony has perfectly captured a playful, almost innocent colourful aesthetic for the first one, yet the second shows such a darker, risquรฉ and unapologetically seductive atmosphere. Still both show two sides of the same enticing coin!

Self love is a hard one. It's easy for people to preach it when your body resembles all the beauty standards of todays unrealistic world. But how about the rest of us? Trying to love yourself in your purest form when you don't fit the modern guidelines of what a socially acceptable woman is, just makes the journey that much harder. And more terrifying to display.
